SPODUMENE
Produced in western Australia, Spodumene is mainly used for the production of LiOH and Li2CO3. LiOH can be used as developing solvent in spectrum analysis, lubricant and additive for electrolyte in alkine accumulators and so on. Li2O3 can be put into many uses including but not limited to the manufacturing of various lithium compounds, lithium metal and its isotope, catalyzers for chemical reactions, reagent in Analytical Chemistry, accelerator for admixture in cement as well as the application in semiconductor, ceramics, TV, medical industry and atomic energy industry.
